This week we had to say a heartwrenching goodbye to one of the best ponies a family could ever own. After 25 years of carefully carrying two generations of children and serving as a wonderful gentle companion for many needy horses, Patches went to the “Rainbow Bridge”. He will be missed not only by everyone in our family but also by our wonderful volunteers who took him for his walks, groomed him and made his daily mash.

June 23rd, 6pm, PG Equine and Animal Rescue will be having a fundraiser dinner at the BX Pub. Tickets are $25 and this includes your dinner and first beverage. There will be a presentation by SPCA Constables Debbie Goodine and Chad Bohanan on “Reporting Abused/Neglected Animals”. This will be a very informative presentation detailing the legalities and what we the public can do to assist them when reporting a neglected animal. We will also have a wonderful and emotional slide show encompassing ten years of rescue work!
